Porvair acquired in a management buyout from United Technologies Corporation.
1988
Porvair plc publicly quoted on the Unlisted Securities Market.
1992
Porvair plc listed on main market of the London Stock Exchange and raises capital through a 1 for 4 rights issue.
Porvair acquires Acumatic Filtration Limited and moves it to Wrexham in Wales (now part of the Porvair Filtration Group (“PFG”)).
Porvair acquires Polyfiltronics Limited and renames it Porvair Sciences, a specialist microplate manufacturer.
1995
Porvair acquires Selee Corporation based in Hendersonville North Carolina, a world leader in the filtration of molten metals.
2001
Porvair raises capital in a 3 for 7 rights issue to fund the acquisition of Microfiltrex and Filters for Industry. PFG formed with operations in Fareham, New Milton, Poole and Wrexham. PFG provides filtration solutions to the aerospace, energy, pharmaceutical, inkjet and general industrial markets.
2003
Porvair International and Porvair Ceramics (the companies originally acquired in the management buyout) are sold to the Management.
2005
Porvair raises £4m in a vendor placing to acquire the minority interest in the Porvair Filtration Group.
2007
Porvair acquires Omnifilter inc in Richmond Virginia as a US manufacturing base for PFG.
2008
Porvair acquires Toolturn to provide a high quality machining capability for PFG.
Porvair acquires Seal Analytical for its high quality discrete and continuous flow analysers. Seal Analytical is a market leader in the environmental laboratory analyser market.
